On the morning of May 10, Hai Phong City People’s Committee held a ground-breaking ceremony for an investment project to build a road connecting provincial road 354 through Kien Thuy industrial park to a coastal road in Doan Xa commune, Kien Thuy district.

On March 27, 2019, the City Council issued Resolution No. 04 to decide on the investment policy and assigned the People’s Committee of Kien Thuy district to be the investor to build the project. The project to build a road connecting provincial road 354 through Kien Thuy industrial park to the coastal road has a length of 14.8 km, a road bed width of 22m, a total investment of 924.238 billion VND from the city budget; Construction period from 2020-2022.

Being well aware of the meaning and importance of the Project, the Chairman of the District People’s Committee affirmed that, right after the Groundbreaking Ceremony, the People’s Committee of Kien Thuy District will continue to complete the procedures and documents to implement the Project in accordance with regulations. As the project investor, the People’s Committee of Kien Thuy district will regularly follow the direction and leadership of the city’s leaders, the instructions of the city’s departments and agencies, strictly comply with regulations on manage construction investment, strengthen inspection and control of construction progress and quality, closely monitor the project implementation process. At the same time, direct the communes within the scope of project implementation to perform well the work of site clearance, actively propagate and raise people’s awareness about the meaning and importance of the project, create a consensus and absolute support of the people in the work of site clearance.

The Vice Chairman requested the city’s departments, agencies and sectors to closely coordinate with the investor to well perform their functions and tasks, prioritize solving related issues of the Project, and promptly advise and propose with the city to lead and direct in the process of implementing the project investment.
